White Storm Ocellaris Clownfish

The White Storm Ocellaris Clownfish (Amphiprion ocellaris). It is a peaceful to semi-aggressive species that is reef-safe, admired for its striking white body with irregular black patterns, bold contrast, and playful clownfish personality.

Males typically remain smaller, reaching about 2–3 inches, and often display more submissive behavior, while females/juveniles are larger (3–4 inches), more dominant, and may become territorial as they mature. They reach about 3–4 inches in adult size and should be housed in aquariums of at least 20–30 gallons (larger if keeping pairs or mixed with other species).

Provide live rock, hiding spots, and open swimming space, along with a stable sandbed for biological filtration. Maintain stable water parameters: salinity 1.020–1.025, temperature 72–79°F, pH 8.1–8.4, and ensure a secure lid since clownfish may jump.

Their diet should consist of high-quality pellets, mysis shrimp, brine shrimp, copepods, finely chopped seafoods, and some algae-based foods. With proper care, this fish makes a hardy, colorful, and standout addition to reef or community aquariums.
