Vivien's Leopard Wrasse

Vivien’s Leopard Wrasse (Macropharyngodon vivienae) is a rare and beautiful species prized by experienced marine keepers. It has a peaceful temperament and is reef-safe, though like many leopard wrasses it can be shy and takes time to show full coloration. Males grow to about 4.5 inches, and the body displays a pink-orange base with red spotted scales; females and juveniles are usually softer in color with less intense spotting. Best kept in tanks of at least 90 gallons with plenty of live rock for hiding and foraging, a deep sandbed for burying, stable water quality, and multiple hiding spots. Its diet should include live copepods and amphipods, enriched frozen mysis and brine shrimp, and high-quality meaty pellets once acclimated.

Sensitive species (Leopard Wrasses, Tamarin Wrasses, Deepwater species) have a small extra QT fee due to their special needs.

Several species will be import-to-order and may take anywhere from 3-10 business days to secure. Once your fish is secured, you will be notified, and the quarantine process will then begin.
