Twisti Wrasse

Twistii Wrasse (Anampses twistii) is a beautiful reef fish with a peaceful temperament and considered reef-safe with caution, though it may feed on small crustaceans and ornamental inverts. It grows to about 7 inches in length, displaying a yellow-breasted front with a more reddish-brown body, a pronounced black spot on the operculum, and vibrant hues towards the head. Best kept in tanks of at least 75 gallons, with a deep fine sandbed (3+ inches) for burrowing and night-time resting, abundant live rock for hiding and grazing, and very stable water conditions. Its diet should feature live copepods and other microfauna, frozen mysis and brine shrimp, and quality meaty pellets once acclimated. As this species is somewhat delicate, beginners may struggle, and patience is rewarded with its stunning coloration and natural behaviors.

Sensitive species (Leopard Wrasses, Tamarin Wrasses, Deepwater species) have a small extra QT fee due to their special needs.

Several species will be import-to-order and may take anywhere from 3-10 business days to secure. Once your fish is secured, you will be notified, and the quarantine process will then begin.
