Temminckii Fairy Wrasse

Temminckii Fairy Wrasse (Cirrhilabrus temminckii) is a peaceful species that is reef-safe, admired for its radiant color palette—vibrant red-orange on the body, green and blue highlights on the face and fins, and subtle yellow striping especially vivid in males; females are similar but with more subdued tones. It reaches about 4 inches in adult size. Best kept in aquariums of at least 50 gallons, with lots of live rock for hiding and grazing, a fine sand substrate, stable water parameters (salinity ~1.020-1.025, temp ~72-78°F, pH ~8.1-8.4), and a tight lid since Fairy Wrasses are prone to jumping. Its diet should include live or frozen meaty foods such as mysis and brine shrimp, copepods, and high-quality marine pellets once feeding reliably.
