Tangerine Wyoming White Ocellaris Clownfish

Tangerine Wyoming White Ocellaris Clownfish (Amphiprion ocellaris) is a peaceful species that is reef-safe, admired for its striking orange-and-white coloration, bold patterns, and unique designer morph appeal.

Males typically remain smaller and may perform a submissive “shaking” dance when paired, while females/juveniles are larger, dominant, and can become the alpha in a bonded pair.

They reach about 3–4 inches in adult size and should be housed in aquariums of at least 20 gallons (larger if paired or kept with other tankmates). Provide ample live rock with hiding spots, open swimming space, and optional anemone hosts. Maintain stable water parameters (salinity ~1.020–1.025, temperature 72–79°F, pH 8.1–8.4), and use a secure lid since clownfish are occasionally prone to jumping.

Diet should consist of a varied mix of mysis shrimp, enriched brine shrimp, copepods, high-quality marine pellets, flakes, and some algae-based foods. With proper care, this fish makes a standout addition to reef aquariums thanks to its hardy nature and dazzling appearance.
