Tangerine Snowflake Ocellaris Clownfish

The Tangerine Snowflake Ocellaris Clownfish (Amphiprion ocellaris) is a peaceful species that is reef-safe, admired for its bright orange-and-white coloration, unique snowflake patterns, hardy nature, and striking designer morph appeal.

Males typically remain smaller, reaching about 2–3 inches and often exhibit submissive behavior. Females/juveniles grow larger (up to ~4 inches), with dominant females being the biggest and most territorial in the group.

They reach about 4 inches at adult size and should be housed in aquariums of at least 20 gallons (larger tanks preferred for pairs or community setups). Provide live rock, hiding spots, and open swimming space, along with stable water parameters (salinity ~1.020–1.025, temp ~72–79°F, pH ~8.1–8.4), and a secure lid since clownfish are prone to jumping.

Diet should consist of frozen mysis shrimp, enriched brine shrimp, copepods, high-quality marine pellets, and some algae-based foods. With proper care, this fish makes a standout and hardy addition to reef aquariums.
