Squire's Fairy Wrasse

Squire’s Fairy Wrasse (Cirrhilabrus squirei) is a rare reef-safe species with a peaceful temperament, celebrated for its striking coloration, long lyre-tail fins, and bold mix of yellow, red, orange, and lavender/black markings. Males exhibit vivid body coloration with filaments trailing from the caudal fin, while females are more muted though still beautiful. It reaches about 4 inches adult size. Best kept in tanks of at least 50 gallons, with plenty of live rock for hiding and grazing, fine substrate or sand, stable water conditions, and a tight lid since this wrasse is prone to jumping. Diet should include live copepods or microfauna, frozen mysis and brine shrimp, and high-quality marine pellets once feeding reliably.
