Snow Onyx Clownfish

The Snow Storm Ocellaris Clownfish (Amphiprion ocellaris) is a peaceful species that is reef-safe, admired for its striking white coloration with unique black markings, bold patterns, and hardy temperament.

Males typically remain smaller and may show submissive behavior within a pair, while females/juveniles grow larger and often become the dominant fish. They reach about 3–4 inches in adulthood and should be housed in aquariums of at least 20–30 gallons.

Provide ample live rock, hiding spots, and open swimming space, along with a stable sandbed if desired. Maintain stable water parameters (salinity ~1.020–1.025, temp ~72–79 °F, pH ~8.1–8.4), and use a secure lid since clownfish can jump.

Diet should consist of a varied mix of frozen mysis shrimp, enriched brine shrimp, copepods, quality marine pellets, and occasional algae-based foods.

With proper care, this fish makes a hardy, visually stunning, and personable addition to any reef aquarium.
