Skunk Clownfish

The Skunk Clownfish (Amphiprion perideraion / Amphiprion sandaracinos, depending on variant) is a peaceful to semi-aggressive species that is reef-safe, admired for its distinct skunk-like white stripe running from the nose to the tail, soft pink to orange coloration, and hardy nature.

Males typically remain smaller and may display submissive behavior, while females/juveniles grow larger and often become the dominant member of a pair. They reach about 4–5 inches in adulthood and should be housed in aquariums of at least 30 gallons.

Provide live rock for shelter, open swimming space, and ideally an anemone host (though not required), along with stable water parameters (salinity ~1.020–1.025, temp 72–79°F, pH 8.1–8.4), and a secure lid since many clownfish are prone to jumping.

Diet should consist of a varied mix of meaty foods (mysis shrimp, enriched brine shrimp, copepods), high-quality marine pellets, and occasional algae-based offerings, and with proper care this fish makes a standout, hardy, and attractive addition to the aquarium.

Several species will be import-to-order and may take anywhere from 3-10 business days to secure. Once your fish is secured, you will be notified, and the quarantine process will then begin.
