Scott’s Fairy Wrasse (Cirrhilabrus scottorum) is a striking species prized for its vivid, multi-hued coloration—males display a dazzling mix of greens/blues with reds, violets, yellows, and black accents, while females and juveniles are more subdued yet still beautifully colored. Adult size is about 5 inches. Best kept in tanks of at least 90 gallons, with plenty of live rock for hiding and grazing, open swimming space, stable water parameters (SG ~1.020-1.025, temp ~72-78°F, pH ~8.1-8.4), and a tight fitting lid since these wrasses are known jumpers. Diet should be rich in meaty foods such as mysis and brine shrimp, copepods, and high-quality marine pellets once feeding reliably.
