Ruby Longfin Fairy Wrasse

Ruby Longfin Fairy Wrasse (Cirrhilabrus rubeus) is a peaceful, reef-safe species admired for its vibrant red/orange head and fins, contrasted with a pale underside and bold blue accents on dorsal/anal fins. Males tend to display more intense coloration and longer, flowing fins; females and juveniles are softer in tone with shorter fins. It reaches about 3 inches in adult size. Best kept in tanks of at least 50-55 gallons, with live rock for hiding and grazing, open swimming areas, a fine sand substrate, stable water parameters, and a tight lid since this wrasse is prone to jumping. Diet should include live copepods or microfauna, frozen mysis and brine shrimp, and high-quality pellets once feeding reliably.
