All fish are checked by marine vets, given a formalin bath, and held for 14 days in copper-treated systems. We feed Selcon-soaked food with Kanaplex and Metroplex during quarantine. Unless marked, all livestock comes with our 15-Day Guarantee. You will receive a video of your fish eating before shipment. For size preference please add a note on your order and we will match your fish to your requested size. If you just want the fish without our QT process, Please email us directly with your order number. Please note this does waive the 15 day guarantee.

The Resplendent Anthias (Pseudanthias pulcherrimus) is a peaceful species that is reef-safe, admired for its vibrant coloration, slender body, and energetic mid-water swimming behavior. This species displays a striking mix of pink, orange, and yellow hues, making it a colorful highlight in any reef aquarium.
Males typically have more intense coloration with elongated dorsal and ventral fins, showing deeper oranges and pinks along the body and head, while females/juveniles tend to be smaller with softer, more uniform pink or orange tones and shorter fins.
They reach about 3–4 inches in adult size and should be housed in aquariums of at least 55 gallons for individuals or 75+ gallons if kept in groups or harems, which is preferred for social behavior.
Provide live rock with hiding spots, open swimming space, and a secure lid, as Resplendent Anthias are known jumpers. Maintain stable water parameters with salinity between 1.020–1.025, temperature 72–79°F, and pH 8.1–8.4.
Their diet should consist of mysis shrimp, enriched brine shrimp, copepods, finely chopped seafood, and high-quality marine pellets. They require frequent feeding (2–3 times per day) due to their high metabolism.
With proper care, the Resplendent Anthias is a stunning, active, and peaceful addition to any reef aquarium setup.

On request, we also send photos/videos after arrival at IA. Some species are import-to-order (3-10 business days). Many common species are already cleared or near the end of QT.
Several species will be import-to-order and may take anywhere from 3-10 business days to secure. Once your fish is secured, you will be notified, and the quarantine process will then begin.
