Reidi Seahorse (Hippocampus reidi) – Also known as the Brazilian Longsnout Seahorse, the Reidi is one of the most graceful and sought-after seahorses in the aquarium world. Known for its elongated snout and slender body, this species often displays brilliant colors ranging from golden yellow to deep orange, red, or even black, making it a true standout in any seahorse-dedicated aquarium. Reaching up to 7 inches, the Reidi Seahorse thrives in calm, low-flow tanks with plenty of hitching posts and peaceful tankmates. Hardy, elegant, and endlessly fascinating to watch, this species is a favorite for aquarists who want a vibrant and active seahorse.
All of our seahorses are sourced exclusively from Ocean Jewels in the Netherlands and their world-class dedicated Seahorse Aquaculture Facility, ensuring captive-bred, healthy, and sustainably raised specimens.
