Red Head Solon Fairy Wrasse

Red Head Solon Fairy Wrasse (Cirrhilabrus solorensis) is a peaceful, reef-safe species known for its vibrant tricolor pattern—bright blue body, red along the dorsal edge, and a yellow-orange face. Males intensify color when courting; females and juveniles are a bit more subdued but still richly colored. It grows to about 5 inches in adult size. Best kept in tanks of at least 90 gallons, with a fine sand substrate, plenty of live rock for hiding and grazing, shaded retreats away from very bright lighting, stable water parameters, and a tight lid since this wrasse is known to jump. Its diet should include vitamin-enriched frozen mysis and brine shrimp, live copepods or microfauna, and high-quality marine pellets/flakes once feeding reliably.
