Rainbow Coris Wrasse

Rainbow Coris Wrasse (Coris atlantica) is a vibrant and charismatic fish that turns any reef display into a moving masterpiece. Males mature with dazzling color — greens, blues, oranges, and intricate patterns — while juveniles and females are more subtle yet still beautifully adorned. They reach about 10 inches in length. Best kept in tanks of at least 55 gallons, with plenty of live rock for hiding and grazing, a sandy substrate to allow natural burying behavior, stable water conditions, and a secure lid since wrasses are active jumpers. Their diet should be rich and varied: frozen mysis and brine shrimp, small crustaceans, and high-quality marine pellets to maintain their vivid coloration and health.
