Polynesian Wrasse

Polynesian Wrasse is an EXTREMELY rare, reef-safe and moderately active wrasse that brings graceful movement and elegant coloration to your display. Males often develop a bold sunset pattern, iridescent highlights, and subtle shifts in hue depending on mood and lighting; females tend to display softer coloring but still maintain visible accents. They typically reach 5 inches in adult size. Best kept in aquariums of 60 gallons or more, with a deep fine sandbed, abundant live rock and rubble for hiding, open swimming space, stable reef-type water conditions (salinity ~1.020-1.025; temperature ~72-78°F; pH ~8.1-8.4), and a tightly secured lid since wrasses are prone to jumping. Their diet should emphasize small meaty foods like copepods, mysis, brine shrimp, and finely chopped seafood, with frequent feedings to encourage natural foraging habits.

Several species will be import-to-order and may take anywhere from 3–10 business days to secure. Once your fish is secured, you will be notified, and the quarantine process will then begin.
