Pink Skunk Clownfish

The Pink Skunk Clownfish (Amphiprion perideraion). It is a peaceful to semi-aggressive species that is reef-safe, admired for its soft pink to peach coloration, the distinctive white stripe along its back, small size, and unique hosting behaviors with anemones.

Males typically remain smaller and are less dominant, while females/juveniles grow larger, with females becoming the dominant member of a mated pair. They reach about 3–4 inches in adult size and should be housed in aquariums of at least 20–30 gallons.

Provide live rock with hiding spots, a sandbed, and open swimming space, along with the option of a host anemone (though not required). Maintain stable water parameters (salinity ~1.020–1.025, temp ~72–79°F, pH ~8.1–8.4), and ensure a secure lid since they may jump.

Diet should consist of a varied mix of mysis shrimp, enriched brine shrimp, copepods, finely chopped seafood, pellets, and occasional algae-based foods. With proper care, this fish makes a standout, hardy, and attractive addition to a reef or community aquarium.
