Pink Margin Fairy Wrasse (Cirrhilabrus rubrimarginatus) is a peaceful species that is reef-safe, admired for its radiant pink-to-orange body tones, delicate red margins on the dorsal and tail fins, and vivid facial markings in mature males. Males are much more colorful, showing stronger contrast, red edging, and often more intense yellow or blue accents; females/juveniles are softer in hue with subtler patterns. It grows to about 5 inches adult size. Best kept in aquariums of at least 75-90 gallons, with plenty of live rock for hiding and grazing, a fine sand substrate, stable water parameters (salinity ~1.020-1.025, temp ~72-78°F, pH ~8.1-8.4), and a tight-fitting lid since this wrasse is a known jumper. Diet should include live or frozen meaty foods such as mysis and brine shrimp, copepods, and high-quality marine pellets once feeding reliably.
