Pearl/China Wrasse (Anampses neoguinaicus) is a very sensitive species that rewards patient and experienced keepers. Reef-safe with most livestock, though very small crustaceans or ornamental inverts may be at risk, it has a semi-shy temperament and may take some time to begin feeding confidently. It grows up to about 9-12 inches, depending on species/variant, and requires a tank of at least 120 gallons with a deep fine sandbed for burrowing, lots of live rock, and plenty of hiding spots. Its diet should include live copepods and amphipods, frozen mysis and brine shrimp, and high quality pellets once acclimated. Because of its sensitivity and tendency to be picky, it is considered an expert-level fish.

Sensitive species (Leopard Wrasses, Tamarin Wrasses, Deepwater species) have a small extra QT fee due to their special needs.
Several species will be import-to-order and may take anywhere from 3-10 business days to secure. Once your fish is secured, you will be notified, and the quarantine process will then begin.
