The Moyer’s Leopard Wrasse (Macropharyngodon moyeri) is a rare and striking species prized by advanced aquarists. Known for its pearlescent body, distinct ear-spot behind the operculum, and colors that flash lime, yellows, oranges, and subtle blues in the head region, it is peaceful with reef compatibility but does require careful care. Best kept in tanks of 75+ gallons with deep, fine sand substrate for burrowing, abundant live rock for shelter and foraging, and very stable water parameters. Its diet should be rich in meaty foods such as live or frozen mysis, brine shrimp, copepods, plus quality pellets once it settles; shy by nature, it thrives in a calm community where it won’t be harassed.

Several species will be import-to-order and may take anywhere from 3-10 business days to secure. Once your fish is secured, you will be notified, and the quarantine process will then begin.
