MochaVinci Extreme Ocellaris Clownfish

MochaVinci Extreme Ocellaris Clownfish (Amphiprion ocellaris) is a peaceful species that is reef-safe, admired for its striking orange-and-white patterning with mocha and DaVinci-style swirls, hardy nature, and unique designer morph appearance.

Males typically remain smaller, reaching around 2–2.5 inches and often take on the role of fertilizing eggs, while females/juveniles are larger, reaching 3–4 inches, and females become dominant in a bonded pair.

They reach about 3–4 inches as adults and should be housed in aquariums of at least 20–30 gallons. Provide live rock with hiding spots, moderate open swimming space, and preferably a sandbed with the option of hosting anemones or coral substitutes. Maintain stable water parameters (salinity ~1.020–1.025, temp 72–79°F, pH 8.1–8.4), and ensure a secure lid since many clownfish are prone to jumping.

Diet should consist of a varied mix of mysis shrimp, enriched brine shrimp, copepods, high-quality pellets, and occasional algae-based foods. With proper care, this fish makes a hardy, colorful, and standout addition to any reef aquarium.
