Marjorie's Fairy Wrasse

Marjorie’s Fairy Wrasse (Cirrhilabrus marjorie) is a peaceful, reef-safe species prized by many aquarists for its vivid coloration and graceful behavior. Males display a red upper body with a bluish-white belly, yellow on the caudal peduncle, and blue-lined fins; females are more muted, mostly orange to red with a small black spot on the upper caudal peduncle. It reaches about 2-3 inches in adult size. Best kept in tanks of at least 50-90 gallons, with ample live rock for hiding and grazing, open swimming space, a fine sand substrate, stable water parameters, and a tight lid to prevent jumping. Its diet should include live copepods or amphipods, frozen mysis and brine shrimp, and high-quality marine pellets once feeding reliably.
