Longfin Ice Storm Ocellaris Clownfish

The Longfin Ice Storm Ocellaris Clownfish ([Amphiprion ocellaris]) is a peaceful species that is reef-safe with caution, admired for its striking white and black coloration, elongated flowing fins, unique “storm” pattern, and hardy nature.

Males typically are smaller with slightly less vibrant coloration and shorter fins, while females/juveniles display more vivid coloration, larger body size, and longer flowing fins as they mature.

They reach about 3–4 inches in adult size and should be housed in aquariums of at least 30 gallons. Provide a sandbed, plenty of live rock, hiding spots, and open swimming space, stable water parameters (salinity ~1.020–1.025, temperature ~72–79°F, pH ~8.1–8.4), and a secure lid since many clownfish species are prone to jumping.

Diet should consist of mysis shrimp, brine shrimp, copepods, high-quality pellets, and occasional algae-based foods, and with proper care, this fish makes a standout addition to the aquarium.
