Longfin Black Photon Ocellaris Clown (Amphiprion ocellaris). It is a semi-aggressive species that is reef-safe, admired for its striking black-and-orange coloration, long flowing fins, unique designer patterns, and hardy nature.

Males typically remain smaller, reaching around 2–2.5 inches, and often display submissive behaviors such as “shaking” when paired, while females/juveniles are larger, up to 3–3.5 inches, and become the dominant member of a pair or group.

They reach about 3–3.5 inches in adulthood and should be housed in aquariums of at least 20–30 gallons. Provide live rock for hiding spots, a sandbed, and open swimming space. Stable water parameters are essential (salinity ~1.020–1.025, temp ~72–79°F, pH ~8.1–8.4), and a secure lid is recommended since many species are prone to jumping.

Diet should consist of a varied mix of meaty foods (mysis shrimp, brine shrimp, copepods) and high-quality pellets or flakes, along with occasional algae-based foods. With proper care, this fish makes a standout and hardy addition to a reef or marine aquarium.
