Line-Spot Flasher Wrasse

Line-Spot Flasher Wrasse (Paracheilinus lineopunctatus) is a reef-safe, peaceful flasher wrasse that brings beautiful color, movement, and personality to a reef setup. Males display red bodies with subtle blue along the sides, a yellow base on the dorsal fin with red filaments, and perform dramatic flashing displays during courting; females and juveniles are more muted, with less elaborate fins and softer hues. It reaches about 3 inches adult size. Best kept in aquariums of at least 50-55 gallons, with plenty of live rock for hiding/resting, open water for flashing displays, fine sand substrate, stable water (salinity ~1.020-1.025; temperature ~72-78°F; pH ~8.1-8.4), and a tight lid to prevent jumping. Diet should be frequent and rich in meaty fare—mysis, brine shrimp, small crustaceans, and high-quality marine pellets to maintain color and health.
