Lemonpeel Angelfish, Juvenile (Centropyge flavissima)

The  Lemonpeel Angelfish, Juvenile (Centropyge flavissima). It is a semi-aggressive species that is reef-safe with caution, admired for its brilliant yellow coloration with a striking blue ring around the eye, compact size, and vibrant personality.

Males typically develop more intense coloration and may show dominance behaviors, while females/juveniles are slightly smaller, uniformly yellow, and less aggressive. They reach about 5 inches in adult size and should be housed in aquariums of at least 70 gallons.

Provide plenty of live rock with hiding spots and grazing surfaces, along with some open swimming space. Maintain stable water parameters (salinity ~1.020–1.025, temp ~72–79°F, pH ~8.1–8.4), and ensure a secure lid since many species are prone to jumping.

Diet should consist of mysis shrimp, enriched brine shrimp, copepods, spirulina, high-quality marine angelfish pellets, and marine algae. With proper care, this fish makes a standout and colorful addition to the aquarium.
