Johnson's Fairy Wrasse

Johnson’s Fairy Wrasse (Cirrhilabrus johnsoni) is a small, reef-safe fairy wrasse with a peaceful temperament that makes it ideal for enthusiasts who love color but want manageable size. Males reach about 3 inches, females slightly smaller; males feature vivid orange and yellow bodies with bright red fins accented by electric blue highlights, while females are more subdued with transparent or lightly colored fins. Best kept in tanks of at least 50 gallons, with plenty of live rock for hiding and grazing, open swim spaces, fine sand substrate, very stable water conditions, and a tight lid as wrasses are known jumpers. Its diet should include meaty fare such as live or frozen mysis and brine shrimp, along with copepods, and high-quality pellets once acclimated.
