Jeweled Leopard Wrasse

The Jeweled Leopard Wrasse (Halichoeres lapillus) is a striking reef fish, celebrated for its dazzling coloration and lively, active behavior. Known for a generally peaceful temperament, it is considered reef-safe with caution, as very small invertebrates like ornamental shrimp may occasionally be at risk. Best suited for aquariums of 50+ gallons, this wrasse thrives in tanks with a secure lid, a mature sandbed, and plenty of rockwork for foraging and shelter. Its diet should include frozen mysis, brine shrimp, finely chopped seafoods, and high-quality pellets, while it will also spend much of its day hunting natural microfauna in the rock and sand. With its vibrant jewel-like patterns and constant activity, the Jeweled Wrasse is an excellent choice for aquarists seeking both beauty and utility in their reef.

Several species will be import-to-order and may take anywhere from 3–10 business days to secure. Once your fish is secured, you will be notified, and the quarantine process will then begin.
