Japanese Bulb Anemone (Entacmaea quadricolor).
It is a semi-aggressive species that is reef-safe with caution, admired for its brilliant bubble-like tentacles, striking color morphs (green, rose, and rainbow varieties), and symbiotic relationship with clownfish.

Males typically cannot be visually distinguished, as anemones are not sexually dimorphic, while juveniles and smaller individuals often display more prominent bubble tips, which may elongate as they mature.

They reach about 12–18 inches across when fully expanded and should be housed in aquariums of at least 30 gallons (larger preferred, especially for rose/rainbow varieties).

Provide ample live rock for foot attachment, moderate to strong lighting (preferably LED or metal halide), moderate to strong water flow, and open swimming space for hosting fish. Stable water parameters are essential: salinity ~1.020–1.025, temperature 72–79°F, pH ~8.1–8.4.

Diet should consist of meaty foods such as mysis shrimp, brine shrimp, silversides, and occasional pellet or frozen reef blends, though they also rely heavily on zooxanthellae for photosynthesis under strong lighting.
