HYBIRD Scopas x Black

Scopas × Black Hybrid Tang (Zebrasoma scopas × Zebrasoma rostratum) is a rare, eye-catching tang that blends the elegance of the Scopas Tang with the striking dark tones of the Black Tang, creating a one-of-a-kind color show in any reef display. This hybrid is semi-aggressive and reef-compatible, especially with other tangs of different genera or non-territorial species; expect it to establish territory but reward you with movement, contrast, and bold personality. Adults reach about 9-12 inches in size. Best housed in tanks of at least 110 gallons, with lots of live rock for grazing and hiding, open swimming space, and a tight lid. Diet should be herbivore-focused: plenty of marine algae, nori, algae sheets, supplemented with quality herbivore pellets, occasional frozen mysis/brine for enrichment. Strict lighting and water clarity will bring out its coloration and sheen.
