Green Long Tentacle Anemone (Macrodactyla doreensis).
It is a semi-aggressive species that is reef-safe with caution, admired for its vibrant green coloration, long flowing tentacles, and ability to host clownfish.

Males typically do not differ significantly in appearance from females (sexual dimorphism is not externally visible in this species), while juveniles are smaller, with shorter tentacles that elongate as they mature.

They reach about 8–20 inches in diameter as adults and should be housed in aquariums of at least 55–75 gallons. Provide a deep sandy substrate for burrowing, stable live rock for attachment, and moderate water flow with good lighting. Maintain stable water parameters (salinity ~1.020–1.025, temperature ~72–79°F, pH ~8.1–8.4).

Diet should consist of meaty marine foods such as mysis shrimp, brine shrimp, krill, silversides, and occasional supplemental feedings of marine pellets or other finely chopped seafood.

With proper care, this anemone makes a standout centerpiece in a reef aquarium, especially when paired with compatible clownfish.
