Great Barracuda (Sphyraena barracuda) – The Great Barracuda is a powerful and awe-inspiring predator, instantly recognized by its elongated body, razor-sharp teeth, and commanding presence. Sleek and lightning-fast, this species is a true open-water hunter that requires very large aquariums with ample swimming space and strong filtration. Growing over 5 feet in the wild (though typically smaller in captivity), the Great Barracuda is best suited for public aquariums or highly advanced aquarists with massive systems. Its bold silver body marked with irregular dark blotches and its fierce, watchful eyes make it one of the most dramatic display fish available, offering a living embodiment of strength and speed in the marine world.

International Aquatics Quarantine & Guarantee: All fish are checked by marine vets, given a formalin bath, and held for 14 days in copper-treated systems.
