Goldflake Wrasse

Goldflake Wrasse (Labropsis polynesica) is a rare and highly sought-after reef-safe wrasse that captivates with its dark brown body streaked in shimmering gold stripes, a yellow-to-brown head, light blue lips, and delicately bordered fins that gleam under reef lighting, making it one of the most unique additions to a display. Growing to about 3-4 inches, it thrives in tanks of at least 50 gallons with a fine sandy substrate for resting, abundant live rock and overhangs for hiding and grazing, and very stable water conditions (salinity ~1.020-1.025; temp ~75-82°F; pH ~8.1-8.4). It is best fed a rich meaty diet including coral polyps in the wild, but in aquaria should be transitioned to frozen mysis, enriched brine shrimp, finely chopped seafood, and high-quality prepared foods to maintain its vibrant color and long-term health.

Several species will be import-to-order and may take anywhere from 3-10 business days to secure. Once your fish is secured, you will be notified, and the quarantine process will then begin.
