Frostbite Percula Clownfish, Bali Aquarich

The Frostbite Percula Clownfish, Bali Aquarich (Amphiprion percula) is a peaceful to semi-aggressive species that is reef-safe, admired for its striking white body accented with vibrant orange markings and irregular black edging, giving it a frosty, marbled appearance.

Males typically stay smaller and may show slightly more submissive behavior within a pair, while females/juveniles grow larger and more dominant, especially when a hierarchy is established. They reach about 3 to 4 inches in adult size and should be housed in aquariums of at least 20–30 gallons.

Provide live rock with hiding spots and open swimming space, and optionally a host anemone, though they adapt well without one. Maintain stable water parameters: salinity ~1.020–1.025, temperature 72–79°F, and pH 8.1–8.4, with a secure lid since clownfish can jump.

Diet should consist of a variety of foods such as frozen mysis shrimp, enriched brine shrimp, copepods, high-quality pellets, and occasional algae-based foods. With proper care, this fish makes a stunning and hardy addition to reef aquariums, providing both beauty and personality.
