Fine Spotted Fairy Wrasse

The Fine Spotted Fairy Wrasse (Cirrhilabrus punctatus) is a reef-safe species with a peaceful temperament, known for its dense pattern of tiny pale spots over a greenish to reddish body and a pale underside. Both sexes look similar, though males may shift in intensity of color or develop longer fins when courting. Grows to about 5 inches adult size. Best kept in tanks of at least 90 gallons with fine sand for burrowing, plenty of live rock for hiding and grazing, stable water conditions, and a secure lid since it is prone to jumping. Diet should be carnivorous and varied: live or frozen mysis and brine shrimp, copepods, and high-quality pellets once feeding reliably.
