Eightline Wrasse

Eightline Wrasse (Pseudocheilinus octotaenia) is a peaceful reef-safe species known for its striking appearance—an orange to reddish body with eight fine horizontal stripes (often bluish or purplish), yellow accents on the cheek and gill cover, and beautifully detailed fins—that adds color, motion, and personality to any reef tank. It reaches about 4-5½ inches full adult size. Best kept in aquariums of at least 50-60 gallons, with lots of live rock for hiding, crevices/rubble for comfort, a fine sand substrate, stable reef water (salinity ~1.020-1.025; temperature ~72-79°F; pH ~8.1-8.4), and a secure lid because this wrasse is known to jump when startled. Diet should be carnivorous and varied: vitamin-enriched frozen mysis and brine shrimp, small crustaceans, zooplankton, supplemented by high-quality marine pellets to maintain color and health.

Several species will be import-to-order and may take anywhere from 3-10 business days to secure. Once your fish is secured, you will be notified, and the quarantine process will then begin.
