Earles Fairy Wrasse

Earl’s Fairy Wrasse (Cirrhilabrus earlei) is a rare and mesmerizing species, fully reef-safe and peaceful, though shy and sensitive—experience and stable conditions really bring out its full beauty. Males grow to about 5 inches, while females and juveniles stay slightly smaller; males show vibrant orange stripes over pink/purple bodies, with a distinct yellow spot behind the eye and red accents on the head, whereas females are more softly colored with subtler stripes. Best kept in tanks of at least 90 gallons, with a fine deep sandbed, plenty of live rock for hiding and grazing, strong stable water parameters (SG ~1.020-1.025, temp ~72-79°F, pH ~8.1-8.4), and a tight lid since they are known jumpers. Diet must be rich in meaty fare—frozen mysis and brine shrimp, live copepods, high-quality pellets once feeding consistently.
