For size preference please add a note on your order and we will match your fish to your requested size. The Decorator Arrow Crab (Stenorhynchus sp.) is a semi-aggressive species that is reef-safe with caution, admired for its long, spider-like legs, pointed rostrum (snout), and unique behavior of decorating its body with pieces of sponge, algae, and debris to camouflage itself.
Males typically have slightly longer legs and more prominent claws, which they may use in displays of dominance or during mating, while females/juveniles are smaller and often more reserved in behavior, staying close to cover.
They reach about 3 to 6 inches in adult size (including leg span) and should be housed in aquariums of at least 30 gallons.
Provide live rock with ample crevices and hiding spots, a sandy substrate, and moderate open space for movement, along with stable water parameters (salinity ~1.020–1.025, temp ~72–79°F, pH ~8.1–8.4). A secure lid is recommended, as they are adept climbers and may escape open-top tanks.
Diet should consist of meaty foods like mysis shrimp, brine shrimp, small pieces of seafood, and occasionally pellets or algae-based foods. They may also scavenge detritus and leftover food in the tank.
With proper care, this crab makes a fascinating and visually striking addition to the aquarium, though caution is advised when housing with very small or delicate invertebrates, as they may be opportunistic feeders.

Several species will be import-to-order and may take anywhere from 3-10 business days to secure. Once your fish is secured, you will be notified, and the quarantine process will then begin.
