DaVinci Ocellaris Clownfish, Tangerine

The DaVinci Ocellaris Clownfish, Tangerine (Amphiprion ocellaris) is a peaceful species that is reef-safe, admired for its vivid tangerine and white coloration, designer stripe patterns, and hardy nature.

Males typically stay smaller, remaining more slender, while females and dominant individuals grow larger and more robust. They reach about 3–4 inches in length and should be housed in aquariums of at least 20–30 gallons.

Provide ample live rock for hiding spots, open swimming space, and optionally a host anemone or substitute coral. Maintain stable water parameters: salinity 1.020–1.025, temperature 72–79°F, pH 8.1–8.4, and a secure lid, since they may jump.

Diet should consist of a varied mix of mysis shrimp, enriched brine shrimp, copepods, high-quality marine pellets, and occasional algae-based foods. With proper care, this fish makes a hardy, colorful, and charismatic addition to reef and community aquariums.
