Coral Beauty Angelfish, Yellow Body

The Coral Beauty Angelfish, Yellow Body (Centropyge cf. bispinosa) is a semi-aggressive species that is reef-safe with caution, admired for its striking vibrant coloration, contrasting patterns, and compact size. Males typically display more intense coloration and slightly larger fins, while females and juveniles are smaller with more subdued hues. They reach about 4–5 inches in length and should be housed in aquariums of at least 70 gallons. Providing a setup with a sandy substrate, abundant live rock, plenty of hiding spots, and open swimming areas is ideal, along with stable water parameters (salinity ~1.020–1.025, temperature ~72–79°F, pH ~8.1–8.4) and a secure lid, as these fish are prone to jumping. Their diet should include mysis shrimp, brine shrimp, copepods, pellets, and algae. With proper care, this vibrant angelfish becomes a stunning and dynamic addition to any marine aquarium.
