The Coral Beauty Angelfish, Lautoka (Centropyge bispinosa) is a semi-aggressive species that is generally reef-safe with caution, admired for its vibrant coloration, striking deep blue and orange patterns, and compact size. Males typically display more intense coloration and slightly larger body size, while females and juveniles are usually smaller with slightly subdued colors. Adults reach about 4 inches and should be housed in aquariums of at least 70 gallons to provide adequate swimming space. They thrive in environments that include a sandbed, live rock, and plenty of hiding spots, as well as open areas for swimming. Maintaining stable water parameters (salinity ~1.020–1.025, temperature ~72–79°F, pH ~8.1–8.4) is essential, along with a secure lid since many angelfish are prone to jumping. Their diet should consist of mysis shrimp, brine shrimp, copepods, marine pellets, and algae, offering a balanced.
