Blueface Koi Tang

Blue-Face Koi Tang (Zebrasoma scopas variant) is a jaw-dropping centerpiece tang that combines rarity, color, and personality like no other. It features a vivid steel-blue face that fades into warm tones or subtle koi-style patching on the body, creating contrast that catches the eye from any angle. Its temperament is semi-aggressive, especially toward similar tang shapes, but otherwise generally peaceful in reef setups. Grows to about 10-12 inches adult size. Best kept in tanks of at least 125 gallons, with sweeping open swimming areas, abundant live rock for grazing algae and hiding, strong water flow, and a secure lid since tangs are prone to jumping. Diet should be mostly herbivore-focused: marine algae, seaweed sheets, spirulina, supplemented by quality herbivore pellets and occasional frozen mysis or brine shrimp for enrichment.

Several species will be import-to-order and may take anywhere from 3-10 business days to secure. Once your fish is secured, you will be notified, and the quarantine process will then begin.
