Majestic Angelfish, Juvenile (Pomacanthus navarchus). It is a semi-aggressive species that is reef-safe with caution, admired for its brilliant blue and orange coloration, bold patterns, unique juvenile-to-adult transformation, and graceful swimming behavior.

Males typically display stronger coloration and may grow slightly larger, while females/juveniles show more muted hues and retain the signature juvenile patterning before transitioning into adult form. They reach about 10–12 inches as adults and should be housed in aquariums of at least 125 gallons.

Provide ample live rock with hiding spots, caves, and natural grazing surfaces, along with open swimming space for their active movement. Maintain stable water parameters: salinity 1.020–1.025, temperature 72–79°F, pH 8.1–8.4, and ensure a secure lid as angelfish may jump.

Their diet should consist of a varied mix of mysis shrimp, enriched brine shrimp, copepods, spirulina, marine algae, high-quality angelfish pellets, and sponge-based foods to meet nutritional needs. With proper care, this fish makes a vibrant, centerpiece addition to the aquarium.
