Blue Flasher Wrasse

Blue Flasher Wrasse (Paracheilinus cyaneus) is a peaceful, reef-safe flasher wrasse that adds unmatched color, energy, and elegance to any marine display. Males explode with rich reds, electric blue streaks, yellow highlights, and elongated dorsal/tail filaments during flashes and courtship; females/juveniles are more subdued but still display soft red body tones with hints of blue accents. It reaches about 4 inches adult size. Best kept in tanks of at least 55 gallons, with open swimming areas, lots of live rock for hiding and resting, stable water parameters (SG ~1.020-1.025; temp ~72-78°F; pH ~8.1-8.4), and a tight-fitting lid since this wrasse is a jumper. Diet should be rich and frequent: multiple daily feedings of meaty fare such as mysis, brine shrimp, fine frozen preparations, supplemented with high-quality pellets to maintain body condition and vibrant colors.

Several species will be import-to-order and may take anywhere from 3-10 business days to secure. Once your fish is secured, you will be notified, and the quarantine process will then begin.
