Bali Storm Ocellaris Clownfish, Bali Aquarich

The Bali Storm Ocellaris Clownfish is a striking designer morph of the common Ocellaris Clownfish, selectively bred by Bali Aquarich for its dramatic white body and irregular black “storm-like” patterning. This variety is peaceful to semi-aggressive, making it an excellent choice for both beginner and experienced aquarists.

It is reef-safe, thriving in aquariums with corals, anemones, and peaceful tankmates. Males are typically smaller and less dominant, while females grow larger and become the leaders of bonded pairs. Adults reach around 3 inches, and should be kept in aquariums of at least 20–30 gallons.

These clownfish prefer tanks with ample live rock, caves, and hiding places, along with open swimming space. A secure lid is essential since clownfish can jump. They are hardy and adapt well to stable reef conditions, with water kept at salinity 1.020–1.025, temperature 72–79°F, and pH 8.1–8.4.

Their diet should be varied, consisting of mysis shrimp, brine shrimp, copepods, high-quality pellets, and algae-based foods, ensuring vibrant coloration and long-term health. With proper care, the Bali Storm Ocellaris is not only a hardy and resilient fish but also a standout centerpiece due to its unique, storm-patterned appearance.
